How to build Klee as a DPS in Genshin Impact
4-star alternative:The Widsith
Klee is a Pyro Catalyst user, so you’ll want a strong weapon to go along with her fiery abilities.Lost Prayer to the Sacred Windsis Klee’s strongest weapon thanks to its strong buffs.Skyward Atlasis also a great 5-star pick. If you don’t have any 5-star Catalysts on hand, tryThe WidsithorSacrificial Fragments. For Gnostic Hymn (paid battle pass) subscribers, theSolar Pearlis another strong 4-star option.
Since Klee is best as a DPS, you’ll want to head to the Hidden Palace of Zhou Formula domain to get your hands on theCrimson Witch of Flamesset. TheWanderer’s Troupeset also provides great bonuses for Klee, increasing both Elemental Mastery and Charged Attack DMG done by Klee’s Catalyst. Players without 5-star artifacts can count on theResolution of Sojournerset, which boosts Charged Attack CRIT Rate and ATK%.

This team set-up allows Klee to take full advantage of her bestelemental reactions. Working withXingqiuto trigger the Vaporize effect will massively boost Klee’s damage output, whileSucrosecan apply Swirl to spread that damage over a wider area. If you haveMonain your archive, she edges out Xingqiu in this instance thanks to her elemental skill working in tandem with Klee’s powers to produce even higher damage.
Dionacan provide both shields and healing for the team, as well as using her Cryo element to Freeze enemies when applied with Hydro. Furthermore, the Melt reaction between Cryo and Pyro also works similar to Vaporize, with the same rules on increasing damage and spreading using Swirl applying.

To level up Klee’s talents fully, you’ll need 18 Divining Scrolls, 66 Sealed Scrolls, 93 Forbidden Curse Scrolls, 9 Teachings of Freedom, 63 Guide to Freedom, 114 Philosophies of Freedom, 18 Rings of Boreas, and 3 Crowns of Insight. Per each individual talent, that comes out to:
As ever, scrolls are dropped by Samachurls, while Klee’s books come from Mondstadt’s Forsaken Rift domain (Monday/Thursday/Sunday only). For Rings of Boreas, replay the Andrius Wolf of the North boss fight at Level 70+. Finally, Crowns of Insight (which are needed to fully crown Talents) can be obtained through limited-time events or by making offerings to the Frostbearing Tree and Sacred Sakura.
While Klee’s already impressively powerful for her size, unlocking some of her Constellations will turn her into an absolute monster in combat — although this can be an expensive and/or time-consuming process for 5-star characters, and they’re truly far from essential to her build. Her best Constellations, however, are 2 and 4. Constellation 2 Klee will be able to drastically decrease enemy DEF with her Elemental Skill, while Constellation 4 Klee unlocks the ability to deal a massive 555% of her ATK with her Elemental Burst.
