Hypermotion. It’s in the game EA have revealed thatFIFA 23on PC will feature the snazzy Hypermotion technology that current-gen console players have been able to enjoy for some time. The latest iteration of FIFA’s motion-capture tech, cunningly named Hypermotion2, uses machine learning to generate animations based on “millions of frames of Advanced 11v11 Match Capture”, EA say. ABHTP: Always Be Hacking The Planet Ubisoft’s campy cybercrime-o-ramaWatch Dogs 2arrived on Game Pass this week, and it’s worth a look. I’ve been playing Watch Dogs 2 lately myself, by coincidence, and I am enjoying its gang of goofballs who want to stick it to The Man by hacking the planet and forcing people to watch their meme videos. Good camp fun with a nice group of friends. So off you go, dispensing digital justice in San Francisco, Oakland, and Silicon Valley by infiltrating corporate facilities, finding servers, solving puzzles, playing with a remote-controlled car and drone, and hacking everything from security systems and autonomous bots to people’s phones and cars....

A new PC features trailer has revealed the myriad of visual and technical improvements that the Windows version will wield over the PS5 edition, including ray traced reflections,Nvidia DLSSandDLAAcompatibility, an uncapped framerate and ultrawide monitor support. Developers Mojang aren’t monkeying around about the controversial tech NFTs and blockchain can provoke either groans or extreme enthusiasm, but Mojang Studios have come down firmly in the groan camp when it comes to people using the technologies inMinecraft. In astatementpublished to the Minecraft site, Mojang said they were addressing community concerns about their position on NFTs and blockchain. Mojang said their position on the technologies is that “integrations of NFTs with Minecraft are generally not something we will support or allow”....

In order to focus on other games Ubisoft announced today during an investor earnings call that they have cancelled development of planned battle royale game Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Frontline, as well asSplinter CellVR and two unannounced games. During an investor call, chief financial officer Frederick Duguet said the cancellations were the result of the “uncertain economic environment,” and that it would allow Ubisoft to “even more focus on our biggest development opportunities....
