Sonic Prime animated series will land on Netflix this December

With Knuckles, Amy and Rouge confirmed Here’s the Sonic Prime teaser trailer from last month: They also announced that a new teaser for the show would be broadcast today at 5pm PST (Oct 27th)/1am BST (Oct 28th) via the NetflixTwitch channel. I am not traditionally a Sonic fan, but via Netflix (and my child) I’ve developed a begrudging affection for a previous animated series, Sonic Boom. It was self-aware, deeply ironic, and promptly cancelled, which makes it more or less the perfect television experience....

The Rally Point: Terra Invicta is too much for one article, and possibly one lifetime

Here’s looking at ufo I pity anyone who has to review, or god help them, write a guide forTerra Invicta, because doing it even semi-comprehensively would take longer than I expect to live. This is a hugely ambitious game, covering something I’ve never seen before, with a scope that makesEuropa Universalisseem limited. It is a complicated, huge, and ponderous alien invasion simulator that constantly threatens to drop the other boot on you the entire time....

This Ryzen 5000 processor is yours for £145

A six-core, twelve-thread processor for £65 below UK RRP. The AMD Ryzen 5 5600 is a surprisingly capable processor, with the single-core grunt of the rest of the Zen 3 family and only slightly lower clock speeds than the top-end six-core processor, the Ryzen 5600X. The Ryzen 5600X costs the best part of £200, but the vanilla 5600 is down to £145 at Ebuyer - a great value in my book....

10 games with brilliant zombie apocalypses

When there’s no more room on your hard drive… I’m fairly sure that zombies are the perfect video game enemies. They’re relentless, for one thing, happily chomping their way through anyone who gets in their path. The undead are faceless as well, so you don’t feel too bad about escorting them back to their graves. Yet they can be poignant, dramatic reminders of friends and family that meant a lot to characters too, depending on who the shambling corpse used to be....

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (campaign) review: a mix of the spectacular and the middling

A jack of all trades Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s campaign may be the best it’s been for a long while. There’s great variety in the game’s first-person shooty bang with plenty of interesting ideas to break the illusion of it being an on-the-rails ride. Where it excels is in its action movie sequences, but it also takes itself too seriously at times and struggles to balance the sensitivities of conflict within its choppy story....

Price to performance Hello again. Now thatCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2(the second one) is out in full, not just its campaign, I’ve revisited my best settings guide to see whether it can provide a preset-beating balance of looks and performance in the multiplayer component as well. And it does! If anything the various online modes tend to run more smoothly and consistently than the singleplayer story, but whichever you prefer playing, you can make just a few key changes to visibly improve your frames per second....
