Recently acquired Proleteriat are third studio this year Staff at another Activision Blizzard studio have formed a union. Proletariat, the developers ofSpellbreak, wasbought by Blizzard in June and put to work on World Of Warcraft: Dragonflight. Now staff have formed a union with the Communication Workers Of America (CWA) and are asking Activision Blizzard to voluntarily recognise it. “Everyone in the video game industry knows Activision Blizzard’s reputation for creating a hostile work environment, so earlier this year, when we heard that Blizzard was planning to acquire Proletariat, we started to discuss how we could protect the great culture we have created here,” said Dustin Yost, a Software Engineer at Proletariat, ina press release....

Duronic do a good range of electricals, and today the only one I’ve actually bought is reduced on Amazon: a 12-gang power tower, basically a power extension lead with a supportive base that points the unit towards the sky. This particular model normally costs £18, but today has been reduced to £14.99. So why is this worth getting over a standard extension lead? Well, the vertical orientation allows outlets on two sides, which makes it easier to plug things in - especially if your powered objects are in slightly different places....

This is a great pickup for Steam Deck or Switch owners, but of course this memory card would also work in phones, tablets, action cams and so on too - there’s even a full-size SD card adapter included. This memory card is not the fastest around, with A1 and UHS-1 ratings and a sequential read speed of up to 150MB/s, but we found that there wasn’t a particularly noticeable difference between the slowest and fastest Micro SD cards inour Steam Deck memory card testing....

A cute-but-creepy mystery, a queer sci-fi RPG , and a cosmic survival horror game Beacon Pines WhenBeacon Pinesfirst released, I was juggling a few other games at the time and had planned to save it for some cosy Christmas holiday gaming. But after reading and editingGraham’s review, I decided to start playing it that same day and sure enough, it’s become one of my favourite mystery games of the year. And there have beena lotof mystery games this year....
