Yakuza fans, this one’s for you From what I’ve played of the game’s earliest portions, it’s Yakuza through and through, to both its benefit and detriment. I don’t expect it to convert those who dislike the series, but if you’re a fan or a newcomer, it’s looking like it’ll both be a celebration of its cast, and a remake that feels like an old-school spin on the excellentYakuza 0. In other words, the perfect introduction point to this mad, but beautifulactionseries....

You and your shiny round metal best friends are up against the Xenophage, an alien menace that’s living inside the Samaritan. Only by achieving high scores and using some pretty hardcore-looking weaponry (for a pinball table, at least) can you defeat the Xenophage....

Hailing from Dead By Daylight devs Behaviour Interactive Cast your mind back to December’s The Game Awards and you may remember post-apocalyptic FPSMeet Your Makergiving us acloser lookat its intriguing combo of raiding and building. Now, developers Behaviour Interactive have announced the FPS will see an open beta from February 6th to February 13th on Steam, ahead of its release in April. You’ll need to construct your own outpost to ward off other intrepid players who’re after your genes to splice, and set off on your own incursions to try the same yourself....

Beyond a remaster In Returns, each character will have three alternate abilities, although the video above only shows one for each. I like a bunch of them, but in particular: the Sniper, whose alternate fire lets them choose exactly where their shot lands, so they can prioritise enemies; the Enforcer, who has a shield they can use to ram enemies of all sizes backwards; and the Chef, who can cook enemies into meals that confer their own status effects upon players who consume them....
