The 3D roguelike hits early access this Fall Last year, developer Heart Machine announced they were adapting the 2D pixelated action ofHyper Light Drifterfor their 3D co-op sequel,Hyper Light Breaker.Earlier in January, we learned that Breaker’s roguelike structure would includeprocedurally generated open worlds, and we’ve now seen them in action thanks to its first gameplay trailer. Breaker doesn’t look as effortlessly stylish as its predecessor, but its bullet-hell action and fast-paced traversal have me eager to learn more when it launches into early access this Fall....

And 5,000 open roles are closing Another 10,000 Meta employees will lose their jobs, Mark Zuckerberg has announced, and the company will close around 5,000 roles they were hiring for. The cuts come just months after Meta, Facebook’s parent company,laid off 11,000 employees. Zuckerberg offered the newsin a Facebook postupdating readers on what he’s calling their “Year of Efficiency”. The cuts won’t happen all at once, but will roll out across departments through March, April and May, and “in a small number of cases” between now and the end of the year....

DOOM and Myst meet again, 30 years later The shooter only lasts a few minutes and tasks you with killing 100 bat-like demons within five lives. You can watch a quick playthrough inthis video. In classic arcade shooter fashion, swarms of enemies fly toward you as you’re left static, looking around with your on-screen pointer. A head-banging, Doom-riffing soundtrack plays in the background, while a gruff announcer chants “Myst! Myst!” in the background....
