Devs say they “missed the mark at launch” A hefty newWarhammer 40,000: Darktidecontent update arrives in the next week, adding two new missions as well as possibly preparing to let players on Steam and the Windows Store (that’s you, Game Pass gang) play together. It won’t fix the fundamental flaws of the grimdarkLeft 4 Dead’em up but these are welcome changes. Darktide is also adding new cosmetics to earn by playing (yeah!...

It will run until the game’s release, too Tonight’s Warhammer Skulls event showed off a new trailer forWarhammer 40K: Rogue Traderthis evening, which not only revealed several new locations, enemy types and party companions, but it that a closed beta for the Warhammer CRPG will be arriving on June 1st. The beta will be available to anyone who’s already pre-ordered the game, and it will run until the game’s release. We still don’t know when that final release date will be just yet, but if you’re keen to see how 40K translates to a good old-fashioned classicRPG, at least you should have a fair old while to see what’s up....

Well, isn’t this lovely? Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2offered another gameplay trailer today as part of the Warhammer Skulls Showcase, and this one finally shows off the waves of Tyranids you’ll need to stomp through in thissurprise sequel. There’s a solid view of both the shooty parts and the stabby parts of combat, as our superhuman hero rips through enemies with the mechanical teeth of his chainsword. Wholesome fun below....

And it’s out tomorrow Well then. Mere minutes after Nvidia hit the launch button on theGeForce RTX 4060 Ti, AMD rocked up with a new 1080pgraphics cardof their own: the Radeon RX 7600. Though it’s likely more of anRTX 4060rival, given the RX 7600 will go on sale tomorrow – May 25th – at £260 / $269, slightly less than the $299-tagged 4060. Based on the same RDNA 3 architecture as theRadeon RX 7900 XT and RX 7900 XTX, the RX 7600 nonetheless targets a much more widely-used monitor resolution than those 4K-minded GPU hulks....

With new trailer Update:Ubisoft have confirmed thatAssassin’s Creed Mirage’swill arrive on October 12th, with a lengthy new trailer shown during this evening’sPlayStation Showcase. I’ve embedded the new trailer below. Original story: Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s release date might land on October 12th, according to listings by Japanese retailers. OnTwitter, website Gematsu notes that Japanese retailers don’t generally upload placeholder dates, and they “don’t date a product unless official.” While publisher Ubisoft haven’t confirmed the release date for their Middle Eastern romp, these leaks probably mean that an announcement isn’t too far away....
