This secondary levelling system sits beside the Skill Tree on your character management screen, and allows you to focus your late-game efforts on massively buffing specific builds within a character’s overall class. There are a total of nine Paragon Boards per class — a starting board common to all builds and eight highly specialised ones — all featuring dozens of nodes that buff a certain stat or attribute in a way that supports the targeted build....

More indies to slap on the wishlist Day Of The Devs and its indie game festivities returned for this year’sSummer Game Fest, once again proving that indie games are good and cool. Quite frankly, it was an hour or so of straight bangers ranging from mind-bending puzzlers to Pokémon-likes to emotionally charged shepherders. While there’s some familiar names in the pack like Hyper Light Drifter and Cocoon, there’s a whole host of surprises in there....

All the news and trailers from this year’s Geoff Fest Prince Of Persia returns with new Metroidvania The Lost Crown In a, quote, “literally insane” trailer, we got our first proper look atMortal Kombat 1, the latest MK fighting game that is definitely not just the first one again (it’s set in a new reality, according to creator Ed Boon, hence the 1). We saw skulls crushed, rib cages crushed, icicles stabbed into people’s heads, guts ripped out, plus loads more of its classic fatalities....

We didn’t actually get much info on what the crossover will entail, although from the looks of the trailer it’s most likely taking place in Exoprimal, replacing your battlemech-esque exosuits with one that looks like a robo-Ryu or Guile (extremely funny that Guile’s haircut is recreated perfectly on his metal body). You can then punch/shoot a t-rex as your favourite street fightin' boy. Theoretically it would be super easy to put those skins into Streetfighter as unlocks, right?...
