New trailer reveals the eponymous city ThoughBaldur’s Gate 3has been in early access for almost three years, it hasn’t yet given us, uh,Baldur’s Gate. The city which gave the series its name will be a big location in the full game when it launches in August, and today developers Larian showed off its fancy new modern form. It’s come a long way since the days of BioWare making Baldur’s Gate games in the Infinity Engine....
Nova Roma, made by the Kingdoms And Castles devs Nova Roma will challenge you to grow a sprawling city from a tiny village, building out, unlocking new technology, managing water flow in those impressive Roman ways, expanding into the countryside for resources, establishing laws, making edicts, dodging disasters, and keeping citizens entertained with luxury goods and games. Also, if the gods don’t like what you’re up to, they’ll let you know with all the subtlety and proportion they are famed for....
Hopefully they’ll explain their new game more on Monday One big mystery in tonight’s Xbox Games Showcase was the announcement ofKunitsu-Gami: Path Of The Goddess, a new game from Capcom. It’s some sort of action game seemingly steeped in Japanese mythology and it has monsters and an awful lot of masks and that’s about all we can say for certain right now. But it is very pretty! First gameplay trailer below Cities: Skylines 2was revealed a few months ago, but with only a CG trailer and not many details. Now there’s a new in-game trailer and at least a vague sense of what the citybuilding sequel will do differently than its venerable, many DLC’d predecessor. Mainly: bigger cities, more simulated cities, prettier cities. It also brought news of a release date: October 24th. From the trailer alone, I don’t immediately see what makes this a sequel-sized step-up from the original, bar it being a little more realistic visually....

Insect lad’s world-hopping adventures are shaping up a treat Playingpuzzle gamesat events frightens me, because: 1) my brain is rarely able to overcome a puzzle in public; 2) people might be watching, and therefore, 3) I can hear them sniggering behind my back. I had no such trouble with Cocoon, though, because its challenges tweaked my brain receptors in what can only be described as a gentle brush of the neurons....
Idris Elba is top tier, too I’ve spent around an hour withCyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, the one and only expansion forCyberpunk 2077starring your boy Idris Elba. Yes, I saw him in the game, and yes, he fits in great. But what really struck me about the new DLC was how it had morphed the overall combat into a chunkier, more flavoursome affair. Whereas before your guns had about as much impact as the buzz of your phone in silent mode, they now feel like they’ve got some real weight behind each trigger pull....

No more support for HDDs Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty got anew trailer and release dateearlier this evening. Developers CD Projekt Red then followed up by sharing the expansion’s system requirements, which includes a GeForce GTX1060 6GB or Radeon RX 580 8GB in order to hit 1080p at 30fps as minimum spec. CDPR also say they’re amending the system requirements to the base game and will no longer supporting hard disk drives....
The studio behindDon’t StarveandOxygen Not Includedtoday announced their next survival game, a sandbox spaceship game namedDread Pilots. Klei Entertainment this time will send us into a hostile pocket dimension known as the Dread, aimed with only our wits and our wee ship. It’s on you to explore, trade, steal, upgrade, avoid, befriend, ally, and murder your way to survival. The game is due to enter early access next year so for now, content yourself with the announcement trailer below....
Every last trailer and new game reveal A big old look at lovely Fable, with Richard Ayoade playing Dave the giant grocer Kicking things off with a bang, we got our first proper look at Playground Games’Fable. It will be a Day One Game Pass game, too, and will feature a giant veggie enthusiast called Dave played by British comedian Richard Ayoade. It sure looks like Fable all right, with daft jokes, fart jokes and other flavours of jokes....
He’s a nice man It is still weird that Microsoft started making a newFableonly a few short years after closing the studio which created the fantasy RPG series, Lionhead. But they are, a new trailer from NotE3 reminds us. The trailer doesn’t show much of the Fable reboot being made byForza Horizonstudio Playground Games, but it does star a digtal Richard Ayoade, so I’m not complaining. He’s nice, that Richard Ayoade....
Coming next year, probably! Senua is a Pict whose entire village was slaughtered by Vikings. Senua also explicitly has psychosis, something which the devs Ninja Theory talked about a fair bit during the press period forHellblade(and which has been bothpraisedandcriticised). It’s shown in the game largely through visual and audible hallucinations. Senua hears a lot of voices - the sound design was one of the more striking things about the first game - and they’re a large feature of this new trailer, with the introduction of a masculine voice hinting at an antagonist....
