Oh hey, Submerged has a sequel coming to PC

After being a Stadia exclusive? Who knew! Very pretty, that. The sequel will send us once again over the waves of a flooded world, climbing ruined buildings, not doing violence, and cooing at the spectacle and weird pretty wildlife. I’m up for more of that. And in the game. John Walker (RPS in peace) called the first game “unrelentingly lovely” in ourSubmerged review. “To be a little mercenary about it, Submerged is the radio tower climbing of aFar Crygame, set in a very big puddle,” he explained....

Riot say "Whoopsie!" after accidentally suggesting a Valorant character liked NFTs

Even a fictional character liking NFTs would be embarrassing With NFTs in games proving unpopular with almost everyone who doesn’t plan to get rich by fleecing other players, even appearing to support them is controversial. This is a situation Riot Games found themselves in after a lighthearted tweet about one of theValorantwizards visiting an art exhibition on a day out. RPGolf Legends review: fairway to middling

I’m not mad caddies, I’m just disappointed caddies Anecdotally, the first records of modern golf date back to its banning in 15th century Scotland. “Nay Golf,” said parliament. “It’s turning the soldiers into fiendish, turf-snorting club-strokers who’d rather say shit like ‘Triple Bogey’ than batter the English, and we’re no having it.”RPGolf Legendsis not set in 15th century Scotland, but it does take place in a world where golf has been banned....

The Kids We Were review: a sweet, heart-warming time-travel adventure

For fans of Attack Of The Friday Monsters I mention all this becauseThe Kids We Wereis probably the only game I’ve played since then that’s even come close to capturing some of that Attack Of The Friday Monsters magic. You won’t find any kaiju here, but this is a similarly nostalgic portrait of pastoral Tokyo, as viewed through the eyes of young Minato on his summer holidays, first in the present day and then in the 1980s when he ends up travelling back in time Back To The Future-style to when his parents first met as kids....
