Best AS44 loadout in Vanguard Season 1
The AS44 has the highest fire rate of all the Assault Rifles, but that also means it has harsh recoil, making it most effective when running-and-gunning around corners. With this loadout, we aim to lean into that high fire rate, making it even faster while increasing damage so that the AS44 can tear through nearby enemies at incredible speed. This loadout has a lot of recoil, so you need to get comfortable fighting up close if you want to dominate with the AS44 in Vanguard Season 1.
TheEmpress Falchion Abarrel and7.62x54mmr 30 Round Magsare the most important attachments for this AS44 loadout. They increase the fire rate and damage respectively, making it rip through enemies much faster. However, they both decrease accuracy and control, making it harder to hit enemies from a distance. To make the AS44 a little easier to control, we suggest equipping theF8 Stabilizer,M1930 Strife Angled,Grooved GripandZac 12Astock. These attachments won’t improve your accuracy enough to hit opponents in the distance, but you’ll find it much easier to take down nearby enemies. To get the optimal close-quarters setup, use theSlate Reflectorsight to snap to your targets.
Since the AS44 isn’t very accurate, you can’t guarantee that you’ll land headshots. With this in mind, use theHollow Pointammo type. This increases your limb damage, helping you kill enemies quickly without needing to worry about headshots. If you’re trying to kill an enemy and suddenly need to reload,Sleight Of Handincreases your reload speed so that you can jump back into the fight. This AS44 loadout excels at short-range, so your secondary should focus on picking off targets in the distance. If you’re on a large map with open sections or long corridors, we recommend taking aSniper Rifle. TheKar98kand3-Line Rifleare both extremely powerful and will crack skulls with ease. If you’re on a smaller map that doesn’t suit a sniper, try an Assault Rifle that’s best-suited to medium-long range combat. TheSTG44is an absolute laser that will melt enemies across the map, while theBARhas incredibly high damage at any range.
