In a statement toEurogamer, Ubisoft confirmed that their open-world history ‘em up Assassin’s Creed Valhalla would be arriving on Steam on December 6th. It’ll be followed by other games from the publisher, although only RTSAnno 1800and free to play skaterRoller Championshave been touted so far. You’ll be able to find Assassin’s Creed Valhalla onSteamfrom December 6th, with other games from the publisher arriving on the storefront at a later date....

They look familiar Valve have been awarded a patent for a new virtual reality motion controller. It looks a lot like the Meta Quest controllers, with a ring design at its top rather than the flat face of the previous Valve Index motion controllers. Its inclusion could be a further suggestion that Valve’s next headset will be standalone, without the need to be plugged into a PC. It’s the broadest possible explanation of what the ring on the controller might be for, and in fairness, the patent here is specifically called “Electronic Controller With Linear Hand Strap Adjuster”....

It’s leaving Game Pass at the end of the month So off we go, into turn-based battles on a square grid which kinda functions like a hex grid. It is genuinely helpful for me to try more-tactical tactics in the familiar setting of Warhammer 40K. Thanks to games including Dawn Of War and Spice Maureen (not to mention the hypnotic training undergone while being implanted with new organs upon joining RPS), I’m coming in broadly understanding the strengths and weakness of different units and how I should use them....

That concludes Eivor’s story, but unfortunately you won’t be able to continue your medieval adventures in New Game Plus....

Putting hell See, with ball collision switched off, Golf With Your Friends is pretty fun. The courses are oversized and fantastical, and because everyone’s balls are in play at the same time, you get all the light-hearted competition of a real putting contest without waiting for the person in front to take their turn. All fine and dandy. Turn ball collision on, however, and it becomes outright pandemonium. Instead of opposing balls ghosting harmlessly through one another, they begin clattering about from the first stroke....
